The Foamix management team comprises highly qualified professionals with extensive managerial and research experience in the fields of dermatology, cosmetics and biopharmaceuticals.
Dov Tamarkin, Ph.D. - CEO
Dr. Tamarkin is a co-founder of the Company and co-inventor of the Foamix Oil Gel and Foam technologies.
He has more than seventeen years experience in the direction of preclinical, clinical and regulatory phases of drug development. He has held senior positions at Teva Pharmaceuticals and Teva’s subsidiary Portman Pharmaceuticals. Dr. Tamarkin also has extensive experience in the set-up and management of start-up pharma companies and in business development.
He holds a Ph.D. degree in chemistry from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Israel and is the inventor of numerous patents in the pharmaceutical field.
Meir Eini - Chairman & COO
Meir Eini is a co-founder of the Company and co-inventor of the Foamix Foam and Oil Gel technologies. He is an experienced entrepreneur and he has many years of experience in the initiation, setting-up and running of technology-oriented businesses in Israel and the U.S.
Mr. Eini is an inventor of 25 patents in the fields of healthcare, food and medical equipment.
David Schuz, M.Phil., Dip. Pharm., L.LM. - Senior Vice President, Intellectual Property
Mr. Schuz is responsible for managing IP affairs including Foamix’s expanding patent and trademark portfolio as well as directing IP strategy and IP due diligence. Mr. Schuz acquired his legal and intellectual property education at LSE, University of London, QMW, University of London and the University of Trent, Nottingham, UK. He also holds an M. Phil. Degree in Biochemistry and a Diploma of Pharmacology from the University of Cambridge.
Mr. Schuz served as Vice President, Legal at Bio-Technology General (Israel) Ltd. He also served at various times as Acting General Counsel, Associate General Counsel, Senior Director and Head of IP Worldwide at Savient Pharmaceuticals Inc.
Lior Kadosh, Eng. - Vice President, Operations
Mr. Kadosh is responsible for the Company’s operation, including administration, supply chain management, budgeting, IT, maintenance and human resources. He has over 15 years of industrial experience.
Mr. Kadosh holds a M.Sc. degree in Industrial & Management Engineering from Ben Gurion University.
The Foamix executive and scientific team has achieved major tasks, including the development of multiple technology platforms, writing up several patent applications and evoking the interest of a number of strategic partners. Due to the broadening of the Company’s scope of action, Foamix is currently expanding its activities and is adding experienced scientists and business-development personnel to the team.
