CosmetoFoamix™

Foamix believes that the CosmetoFoamix™ technology platform represents a breakthrough in the art of cosmetic formulation, since most foams and mousses that we know are water based and occasionally contain alcohols and glycols, but not oils.

Possible straightforward cosmetic functions may include:
  • Facial and body moisturization. The CosmetoFoamix™ products are ideal for the treatment of large skin areas.
  • Whitening (best for spreading onto large areas)

  • Active agents may include:
    • Retinol and other retinoids
    • Vitamin B derivatives, such as Niacinamide, panthenol and panthotenic acid
    • Vitamin C and its derivatives, e.g., magnesium ascorbyl phosphate
    • Arbutin, kojic acid and any other whitening agents.

  • Anti-ageing (particularly for the treatment of large areas)

  • Active agents may include
    • Retinol and other vitamin A derivatives
    • Alpha and beta hydroxy acids
    • Vitamin B derivatives
    • Vitamin C derivatives
    • Herbal extracts
    • … and any other antiaging agents

  • Body firming treatment (for cellulite and weight loss)
  • Sunless tanning (the facile distribution of the foam ensures even pigmentation, which is highly desirable)
  • Sun protection

Partnering
We at Foamix have completed the development of a number of such products, which are ready for marketing worldwide.
